Alin Fusaru is an Air Traffic Controller with a deep passion for aviation, technology, and safety. Seeing the rapid rise of drone usage, he embarked on a journey to develop DroneOps—a platform designed to improve UAV flight management and enhance airspace safety.
With no prior formal training in software development, Alin taught himself Python, Django, JavaScript, and geospatial technologies, dedicating countless hours to bring this project to life.
The biggest challenge was time—juggling professional duties while building a fully functional airspace management system was no easy feat. But the goal was clear: to create a safe, structured, and innovative way for UAV pilots and airspace managers to interact.
